The Coupe d'Europe 2016/17 is a three-band team tournament carom -Billardsport. The 59th edition of the final tournament took place in Porto from June 9th to 11th, 2017, because last year's winner Gaziantepspor, as defending champion, did not exercise the right to host.

In five pre-qualification groups in Ronchin (F), Paiporta (E), Porcia (I), Bottrop (D) and Athens (GR), the group winners Gröndal, Morangis, Deurne, Gunduz Spor, Buffalo and the best group runner-up Varde qualified for the final tournament in Porto. The host Porto and the defending champion Gaziantepspor are set.

For the first time in its 59-year history, a Portuguese team won this competition: the billiards department of the famous football club FC Porto .
