Cross Pforzheim

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Cross Pforzheim (official name: Sparkassen Cross Pforzheim ) is a cross-country run that has been held annually at Lohwiesenhof near Pforzheim - Huchenfeld since 2008 . It is a valuation run of the German Cross-Cup and was part of the EAA Cross Country Permit Meetings in 2017 . The German Athletics Association has repeatedly determined the run as a qualification option for the various age groups for the European Cross Country Championships ; since 2012, alongside the Darmstadt Cross , it has been one of two qualification options for young people in the U20 age group .

In 2014 and 2017, the German university championships in cross-country running, and in 2016 the German police championships (cross-country running) were integrated into the event .

route

The route is on a gently sloping field northeast of the Lohwiesenhof. A sand bunker and a steeper hill will be built especially for the cross-country run. The competition center is located in the Lohwiesenhof and on the adjacent area.
