In the Auestadion she ran the 5000 meter run in a time of 16: 09.95 minutes on June 19th, finishing third behind Fate Tola and Agata Strausa . A month later she won the German U23 championships over the same distance. In mid-June 2017 she defended her national championship title in the U23 over 5000 meters and was nominated for the U23 European Championships over this distance. There she finished 12th and together with the double winners Alina Reh and Konstanze Klosterhalfen, she won the silver medal in the team ranking.
