Döblitz is a district of the city of Wettin-Löbejün in the Saalekreis in Saxony-Anhalt (Germany).
geography
Döblitz is located in the Saale valley in the Saale district , northwest of Halle (Saale) . It is part of the "Lower Saale Valley" nature park.
history
Döblitz was first mentioned in 1286 under the name Dobelicz in a deed of donation and, like most of the settlements east of the Saale, is of Slavic origin. The aristocratic place belonged to the hall circle of the Archbishopric of Magdeburg . With its annexation to Prussia, Döblitz belonged to the Brandenburg-Prussian Duchy of Magdeburg from 1680 .
With the Peace of Tilsit in 1807, the place was incorporated into the Kingdom of Westphalia and assigned to the Halle district in the Saale department. He belonged to the canton of Wettin . After Napoleon's defeat and the end of the Kingdom of Westphalia, Napoleon's allied opponents liberated the Saalkreis in early October 1813. During the political reorganization after the Congress of Vienna in 1815, Döblitz was attached to the Merseburg administrative district of the Prussian province of Saxony in 1816 and assigned to the Saalkreis.
On January 1, 2011, the cities of Löbejün and Wettin as well as the municipalities of Brachwitz , Döblitz, Domnitz , Gimritz , Nauendorf , Neutz-Lettewitz , Plötz and Rothenburg , which had previously been part of the Saalkreis Nord administrative association , became the new city of Löbejün-Wettin, which received its current name Wettin-Löbejün on April 7, 2011.

The coat of arms of the former municipality was approved on May 4, 1999 by the Halle regional council.
Blazon : "In silver, a red sailing boat with a blue pennant in the blue water covered with two silver waves."
The community colors are red and white.
Attractions
The late Romanesque church was loud Gallera built around 1240, other sources estimate the first half of the 12th century from. The tower was added later, perhaps around 1300. Inside you can see priechen stalls and a horseshoe gallery from around 1650 as well as a pulpit altar with beautiful fittings. The block altar possibly dates from the time the church was built. The organ , built by the Ibach brothers company in Barmen near Wuppertal in 1861/65 , is the only one of its kind in Central Germany. While it was originally in Canstein, it came to Döblitz as a bargain purchase, as the organ in Döblitz had to be replaced.
Culture
The association Förderverein Kultur und Geschichte Döblitz e. V. has been committed to the preservation of the listed building on a voluntary basis since 2002. In order to generate the necessary funds, events have been held since 2002, the income from which enabled several renovation work on the church.
