Drum Workshop ( DW, DW Drums ) is an American manufacturer of high-quality drums and accessories based in California .

history

In 1972 Don Lombardi opened a teaching studio in Santa Monica and named it "The Drum Workshop". Two years later, Lombardi and his student John Good began to manufacture the first hardware, which took some time to develop. After acquiring Camco Drum Co. in 1977, DW developed more and more hardware, including a. Pedals for the bass drum and drum seats. She changed the company direction from training drums to producing drum sets. In 1992 the head office was relocated to Oxnard . DW develops hardware and drum sets that are made from a wide range of woods and metals, depending on customer requirements. The traditional Collector's Series is known . Other series include “Performance”, “Design”, “Jazz” or “ECO-X”.
