Darnebeck is a district of the municipality Beetzendorf in the Altmarkkreis Salzwedel in Saxony-Anhalt , Germany.

geography

The Altmark village of Darnebeck is four kilometers south of Beetzendorf and seven kilometers northwest of the town of Klötze . The slightly curved, short street village lies on the Alter Wasser , a tributary of the Jeetze .

history

The place was first mentioned in 1357 as Darnebeck , when the von Bartensleben gave the Margrave Ludwig lifts from various villages.

The village burned down almost completely in 1837. The large stone grave in Darnebeck was destroyed in the 19th century at the latest.

Incorporations

On July 1, 1950, the previously independent municipality of Darnebeck was incorporated into the municipality of Jeeben from the Salzwedel district . After the incorporation of the Jeeben community into Beetzendorf on January 1, 2009, Darnebeck became a part of the Beetzendorf community.
