Career

Hinson studied at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah , the headquarters of the Cherokee Nation . The Indian university also has a campus in Hinson's hometown. In 2002 they won the championship of this conference and in 2003 they won the nationwide finals after beating the Kentucky Panthers Wesleyan College , which had reached the finals for the sixth year in a row. The Panthers were later withdrawn from the final because of the use of unauthorized players. Hinson was named " Most Valuable Player " of the final tournament.

In 2004, Hinson began a professional career and signed a contract with the former first division club USC from Freiburg im Breisgau in the 2nd Basketball Bundesliga Group South and achieved a midfield placement with the club in the 2004/05 season . He then played two seasons in the Dutch FEB for Landstede from Zwolle and then for the Hanzevast Capitals from Groningen . In both seasons he was invited to the league's All-Star Game .

For the 2007/08 season, Hinson went to Australia in the National Basketball League , where he played for the Razorbacks in Sydney . For the rest of the European season to Hinson joined the former European champions CSP Élite from Limoges in the French second division LNB Pro B on. In the play-offs of the second division they beat Paris-Levallois Basket , who already had the promotion as the main round first, but lost the final for the second promotion place against Union Poitiers Basket 86 .

In the summer of 2010, Hinson played again in the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN) in Puerto Rico, this time for the Gallitos from Isabela . Then he came back to Europe and played in the Polish PLK for Polonia from the capital Warsaw . Polonia only reached tenth place in the 2011 championship and had to withdraw from the top division for economic reasons after the season. Hinson meanwhile gave a guest appearance in the Philippines and played again for the Gallitos from Isabela in the summer of 2011. He then returned to Poland and joined the former championship third Energa Czarni from Słupsk . This placement was held even after the main round, but then fell back in the championship round to be eliminated in the play-offs in the quarter-finals. In the following season 2012/13 Hinson joined the Oberwart Gunners in the Austrian basketball league at the end of the year .
