David Eigenberg (2005)

David Eigenberg (born May 17, 1964 in Manhasset , Long Island , New York ) is an American actor .

Life

After studying at the University of Iowa , Eigenberg first appeared in a musical in Chicago before moving to New York City to study acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts . In New York he took on minor theater roles and worked, among other things, as a carpenter and painter.

He gained greater fame with the role of Steve Brady , with whom he appeared in 41 episodes of the television series Sex and the City . He also took on this role in the movies Sex and the City - The movie from 2008 and its sequel Sex and the City 2 from 2010. Since 2012 he has played the fireman Christopher Herrmann in the television series Chicago Fire .

On January 19, 2009, David Eigenberg and his wife Chrysti became parents of a son. On January 31, 2014, the family had female children.
