David Warshofsky

David Warshofsky (* 23. February 1961 as David A. Warner in San Francisco , California ) is an American actor .

Life and family

Warshofsky, who is of Russian descent, changed his name from Warner to the original Warshofsky family name when he began his acting career. He lives in Los Angeles with his partner and two children .

Career

His first role in a feature film was in 1989 in Last Exit to Brooklyn by Uli Edel . Born on July 4th by Oliver Stone followed in the same year at Tom Cruise's side . In 1997 he played in GI Jane by Ridley Scott . At the side of Angelina Jolie and Denzel Washington he starred in 1999 in The Bone Hunter by Phillip Noyce . In 2001 he appeared in Gary Fleders Don't Say a Word . He also starred in two films opposite Daniel Day-Lewis , for each of which he won an Oscar , There Will Be Blood and Lincoln .

Has also appeared in numerous television productions, including Emergency Room , The Sopranos , Without a Trace , Scrubs , Law & Order and Mad Men .
