Dean Semler
Dean Semler (* 1943 in Renmark , Australia ) is an Australian cameraman and director.
Life
Dean Semler began his career in the 1960s as a news cameraman for Channel 9 in Adelaide . In 1984 Semler was named Cameraman of the Year in Australia for the film Razorback .
Semler worked with a wide variety of directors. He has already been responsible for Peter Segal as chief cameraman four times. For his work on Dances with Wolf , Semler received an Oscar and an ASC Award in 1991 . Dean Semler has also directed three films: The Patriot (1998, starring Steven Seagal ), Firestorm - Burning Inferno (1998), and Super Mario Bros. , although he was not an involved director in this film mentioned.
Semler is married and has one daughter.
