action

At the center of the action are two families who are friends: the Kleinschmidts and the Martens. They have been spending their holidays together for years and secretly, so the parents believe, it's just a formality that Marianne will marry lanky Oliver Martens one day. Bernhard Kleinschmidt, the brother of Marianne and Franziskas, should, according to the cross-family planning, one day lead Petra, who is still in her teens, into the port of marriage. But dark clouds pile up in the relationship sky: Oliver doesn't really want to take the initiative and diligently ignores Marianne, who is madly in love with him, as if she were air for him. The perky little Petra, Oliver's sister, has to fight off the advances of Bernhard, whom she likes to fidget a little. It is Petra who has the saving idea in the case of Oliver. She suggests making Oliver jealous. So, without further ado, a cute admirer of Marianne is invented, a "hero of her dreams". He is tall, dark-haired and a pilot by profession.

As the fate of the film would have it, this dream man dream will one day snow in the holiday home, a chic country house. This sample copy of an attractive man is the French pilot Robert Mautier, who had to make an emergency landing in his plane nearby. Oliver is now suddenly logged off from Marianne, which does not suit him at all. The skinny youngster then tries to drive his competitor out of his house and field of vision with a provoked fight - but with very manageable success. Robert, in turn, soon feels drawn to Marianne's older and more mature sister Franziska and dances with her to the romantic piano sounds of Marianne, who in turn reacts jealously to this approach. But in the end every pot has its lid, and for the girls there is not just one “hero of their dreams”.

criticism

In the lexicon of international films it says: “A reasonably pleasing holiday film, set in a country house in a sky-blue landscape. The abstract level of play implied without being anchored in reality is used for some pretty ideas and ironic highlights without saying anything too profound. "

On cinema.online it said briefly: “Brave world escape romance with Heidi Brühl (1942-1991), who died early. Conclusion: The girls are apart, the jokes are old. "
