Klaus Dahlen
Klaus Dahlen (born May 23, 1938 in Berlin , † May 16, 2006 in Baden-Baden ) was a German actor .
Life
Career start at the theater
The trained carpenter and commercial artist came to the acting profession through extra roles at the Deutsche Oper and the Schillertheater in Berlin. His childhood friend Harald Juhnke proved to be a special sponsor . From then on Dahlen was a very busy theater actor.
Movie and TV
Dahlen made his cinema debut in 1957 in the film Endstation Liebe with Horst Buchholz . Dahlen became known to a wide audience as a curly-headed, somewhat clumsy but good-natured fat man through numerous supporting roles in film and television plays from the 1960s. He achieved particular popularity through the ARD television series Klimbim (1973–1979). In the last episodes of the well-known series A Heart and a Soul , he replaced Diether Krebs in the role of Ekel Alfred's son-in-law. He has also participated in the series Two Heavenly Daughters , It Doesn't Always Have to Be Caviar , The Commissioner , The Men from K3 , Coast Guard , Alpha Team and Tatort, as well as in a total of 35 feature films.
Last appearance
He had his last appearance on May 7, 2006 in the Comödie Duisburg in the world premiere of the play Where love falls… . He died after a severe physical collapse and was buried in a cemetery in Baden-Baden in the Oos district, field 6, above the Marienkapelle. Dahlen was married twice and had two sons.
