German A-Juniors football championship 1997/98

The German soccer championship of the A-Juniors in 1998 was the 30th edition of this competition. Borussia Dortmund won their fifth championship in a row with a 2-1 on penalties (2-2 after extra time) in Dortmund against Bayern Munich .

Participating teams

The five champions of the regional leagues as well as the runners-up from the north, south and south-west took part in the youth championship. The Regionalliga Nordost played in two groups (North / South). The finals for the NOFV championship were won by Tennis Borussia Berlin against Dynamo Dresden (2: 2.6: 0)
