German football championship of the B-Juniors 1988/89

The German B youth championship in 1989 was the 13th edition of this competition. The champions were FC Bayern Munich , who defeated defending champion Hertha Zehlendorf 1: 1 after extra time and 5: 4 on penalties in the final.
