Eva Schulz (* 1990 in Borken ) is a German journalist , presenter and web video producer .

Life

Eva Schulz attended the Mariengarden high school in Borken-Burlo, where she gained her first journalistic experience with the school newspaper Marie . She won various school journalist awards, including three times in the Spiegel school newspaper competition . On the side she wrote for Spiegel Online , Jetzt.de or Zeit Zuender and did an internship at Handelsblatt . Schulz studied communication, culture and economics at the Zeppelin University . She wrote her thesis in 2013 on " Innovation in public television - and how it is prevented" . She then completed a master's degree in urban studies at Duke University in North Carolina and traveled through Europe for two semesters.

Journalistic work

In 2011 Schulz was involved in the development of the first German edition of Wired magazine. From 2012 to 2014 she worked as a reporter for the EinsPlus television magazine Klub Konkret . From 2016 to 2017 she developed the Snapchat news channel upright for funk . Since 2017 she has been running the funk video channel Deutschland3000, which is primarily produced for Facebook and Instagram. According to their own statement, their aim is to support young people in forming an opinion on political issues. Since 2019, it also hosted the radio - Podcast Deutschland3000 - 'ne good hour with Eva Schulz .
