In 1805 it came to Bavaria through the Treaty of Pressburg . Already at the end of the 15th century there was an iron hammer in Dietersberg , which was called "Dietersberger Hammer" or "Hammer Dietersberg". From 1594 to 1608 it processed more than 2000 tons of iron ore and was operated first as a rail hammer and later as a weapon hammer . From 1754 the Eisenhammer Dietersberg was converted into a glass loop due to lack of wood . In 1907, a power station was built in Dietersberg, which supplied Schönsee and Dietersdorf with electricity until after the Second World War .
