Dietz Tinhof , actually Dietmar Tinhof (* 1964 in Vienna ) is an Austrian sound engineer and music producer .

Life

Tinhof has completed studies in sound engineering and geography (major in spatial planning and research ). He worked as a freelance sound engineer for producers such as Brian Eno , Thomas Rabitsch , Beat 4 Feet, David Bronner, Alexander Kahr , Georg Gabler, Zare Pak and with artists such as Falco , Conchita Wurst , Quruli, Siddharta, Count Basic, Hansi Lang , The Slow Club, Opus, dZihan & Kamien , Sofa Surfers , Attwenger , Russkaja , Aphrodelics, Vera , Valerie , Madita , Drahdiwaberl , Krautschädl , Mother's Cake , jbbg (Jazz Big Band Graz), Marianne Mendt , Hans Theessink and many others.

Tinhof also works as a developer of audio software for the Vienna Symphonic Library , v. a. the Vienna MIR Pro.

In 2013 he was nominated for the Amadeus Austrian Music Award in the Best Sound category for the album Piece of Me by Jeremy Schonfeld , in 2018 for the album Songs I Like by Christoph Pepe Auer , and in 2019 for the album From Vienna With Love by Conchita & Wiener Symphoniker .
