Under the motto “Trust In You”, the central role of trust in the further development of the digital economy was discussed, since trust is essential in many ways: Companies need the trust of users in order to be able to offer products and services successfully. At the same time, they also have to trust their employees to master the digital challenges. Users, on the other hand, must be able to rely on the fact that companies in the digital economy handle their data with respect and responsibility. Overall, the entire digital industry needs the trust of society that digitization brings more advantages than disadvantages for people.

In order to partially compensate for the CO 2 pollution caused by the journey of the visitors, DMEXCO started the reforestation project DMEXCO Forest together with the social business Treedom. To this end, trees are being planted in Kenya that will in future store a total of around 1 million kilograms of CO 2 . Another sponsor of the campaign was the SaaS company Productsup.
