Drabiw ( Ukrainian Драбів ; Russian Драбов Drabow ) is an urban-type settlement and administrative seat of the raion of the same name in the Ukrainian Cherkassy Oblast with about 6,600 inhabitants (2014). Drabiv is located on the upper reaches of the Solotonoschka , an 88 km long left tributary of the Dnepr 71 km north of Cherkassy and 48 km northwest of Chornobaj . The village, first mentioned in writing in 1680, received the status of an urban-type settlement in 1965.

Drabiw is the administrative center of the Rajons of the same name, founded in 1923. The Drabiv Rajon is located in the northeast of the Cherkassy Oblast , has about 36,000 inhabitants and an area of ​​1160.62 km². The population density is 32 inhabitants per km².
