Baqên ( Tibetan : སྦྲ་ ཆེན་ རྫོང་ , transcription after Wylie : sbra chen rdzong , also: "dragon") is a district of the Nagqu administrative district in the northeast of the Tibet Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China on the border with Qinghai Province , 573 km from Lhasa away.

economy
The most important branch of the economy in Baqên is cattle breeding (grazing), whereby u. a. Musk is produced. Herbs and mushrooms used in traditional medicine are also extracted, including a certain type of imperial crown (Fritillaria thumbergii) and the Chinese caterpillar mushroom (Cordyceps sinensis) .
