Eberhard von der Recke (Chamberlain)

Eberhard Freiherr von der Recke (* 4. May 1847 in Merseburg , † 4. June 1920 in Dresden ) was a Prussian administrative lawyer, district and provincial government in Koszalin (1893-1898) and Merseburg (1898-1909).

Life

Career

He began in 1871 as a court trainee in Frankfurt (Oder) and Naumburg (Saale) . Activities as a court assessor and assistant public prosecutor in Wroclaw followed . As district administrator he worked in the district of Querfurt , Province of Saxony from 1876 to 1888. From 1888 Baron von der Recke served as the chamberlain of the German Empress Auguste Viktoria .

Eberhard Freiherr von der Recke was a legal knight of the Order of St. John . He had been a member of the Corps Saxonia Göttingen since 1867 .

family

He married Anna Elisabeth Countess von der Schulenburg (* 1858) in Vitzenburg on October 4, 1879 . The marriage had three children: Joachim (* 1880), married to Luise von Düring, Wilhelmine (* 1881), married to Kraft Freiherr von Bodenhausen and Anna Maria (* 1883), married to Heinrich Freiherr von Schlotheim.
