Wilhelm von Bonin (administrative officer)
Wilhelm Friedrich Fürchtegott von Bonin (born November 18, 1786 in Stargard in Pomerania , † January 18, 1852 in Stettin ) was President of the Prussian Province of Pomerania .
Life
origin
Wilhelm von Bonin came from the Upper Pomeranian noble family von Bonin . His parents were Otto Friedrich Fürchtegott von Bonin (* 1757; † 1833) and his wife Luise Frederike Wilhelmine, born von Tschirschky (* 1763; † 1836). His father was landscape director of the Stargard department of the Pomeranian landscape as well as the owner of several large estates such as Elvershagen, Niederhagen A, Oberhagen and Karnitz.
Career
Bonin was a government assessor in Stettin before he took part in the Wars of Liberation in the years 1813-1814 . In 1816 he was discharged from the Prussian army as a cavalry officer and was a councilor in Koblenz . In the same year he became government vice-president of the district of Stettin in the Pomeranian Stettin, where he held office until 1832. From 1824 he was a member of the newly formed provincial parliament of the province of Pomerania .
From 1832 to 1834, von Bonin District President of the administrative region of Pomerania in behind Pomeranian Koszalin and changed in the same office 1834-1835 in the administrative district of Merseburg in the province Saxon town of Merseburg .
From 1835 until his death in 1852, von Bonin was President of the Province of Pomerania and, at the same time, President of the District of Szczecin . In 1843 he was appointed Real Privy Councilor with the title Excellency .
family
He married Hedwig Luise Frederike Albertine von Kamptz (* October 16, 1803; † May 16, 1868), daughter of Minister Karl Albert von Kamptz, in Berlin on October 21, 1826 . The couple had the following children:

After the death of her husband, the widow married the Prussian general Otto von Bonin .
