Eduard Jan Brynych
Eduard Jan Brynych (also: Eduard Jan Nepomuk Brynych ; Czech: Edvard Jan Nepomucký Brynych ; born May 4, 1846 in Vlásenice , † November 20, 1902 in Chrast ) was Bishop of Königgrätz .
Eduard Jan Brynych worked as a pastor in Žlunice and Königgrätz after his ordination . In 1888 he became a canon of Vyšehrad . In 1891 he was President of the Catholic Journeyman's Association in the Archdiocese of Prague .
After the death of Bishop Josef Jan Hais of Königgrätz , Eduard Jan Brynych was nominated as his successor in 1892 and was confirmed papally on January 19, 1893. In 1897 he organized a diocesan synod . In the same year the diocesan education and meeting center "Adalbertinum" was opened.
