The Egyptian Premier League 1982/83 was the 27th season of the Egyptian Premier League , the highest Egyptian championship in football . Master became al Mokawloon Al Arab for the first and only time to date . The number of teams was reduced from 14 to twelve. Domiat Club and Gazl Domiyat got down. Al Koroum and Domiat Club were new to the league .
