This discography is an overview of the published records by the saxophonist, clarinetist, band leader and musicologist Ekkehard Jost (1938-2017). It includes his albums under his own name as well as collective band projects ( section 1 ), his contributions to recordings by others ( section 2 ) and compilations ( section 2 ). According to the discographer Tom Lord , he was involved in 34 recording sessions between 1979 and 2006.
