Emily Swallow

Emily Rebecca Swallow (born December 18, 1979 in Jacksonville , Florida ) is an American actress .

life and career

Emily Swallow grew up in Jacksonville. After completing her bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia , she studied acting at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York City .

She started her career on Broadway , where she appeared in several productions. Including King Lear , A Midsummer Night's Dream , The Taming of the Shrew and Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare , and The Cat on a Hot Tin Roof by Tennessee Williams .

She got her first television role in an episode of the US soap opera Springfield Story . This was followed by other guest appearances in other US series such as Medium - Nothing Remains Hidden , Navy CIS , Good Wife and Rizzoli & Isles . In 2013, she finally got a leading role in the post-season set Monday Mornings (as Dr. Michelle Robidaux) and in The Mentalist (as agent Kim Fischer). She left the latter series after half a season.
