Enuka Vanessa Okuma (born September 20, 1976 in Vancouver , British Columbia ) is a Canadian actress of Nigerian descent.

Life

Enuka Okuma was born in Vancouver in 1976. She attended Simon Fraser University in Burnaby , British Columbia. In 1990 she stood for the episode The Dead Land of the American television series MacGyver in front of the camera. From 1992 to 2003, Okuma voiced the character Android 18 for 84 episodes for the Dragon Ball Z animated series . She then starred in several television films before starring in the 1999 thriller Doppelmord . It was followed by other appearances in television series such as Andromeda, Dark Angel , Odyssey 5 and Twilight Zone . In 2003 Okuma played the role of Karma in the US / Canadian / German horror film House of the Dead by Uwe Boll . The film is a video game adaptation of the Japanese video game The House of the Dead and is number seven in the list of the most successful films with German participation in the USA. In addition to other guest appearances in other television series, she received a bigger role as Marika Donoso in the seventh season of 24 for four episodes. Since 2010, Okuma played the role of Traci Nash in the Canadian police series Rookie Blue . In 2011, the short film Cookie appeared with Jennifer Finnigan in the lead role, with Okuma played the role of Rachel and appeared as a director and screenwriter .

She has been nominated four times for a Gemini Award for her appearances in series . In 1999 she received an award for best actress in a film at the Vancouver International Film Festival for her involvement in the film Daydrift .

Enuka Okuma has been married since July 2, 2011.
