Enver Hirsch

Enver Hirsch (* 1968 in Hamburg ) is a German photographer, author and journalist. He worked with words and images for the Tempo , ADAC Reisemagazin, Brigitte, Dogs, Colors, Greenpeace Magazin, Vogue , SZ-Magazin , GEO , Essen & Trinken , GQ , Kultur- Spiegel , Lufthansa Magazin, Das Magazin (Switzerland) , Manager Magazin , Maxi , Aktion Mensch , Monocle , Neon , Qvest ( independent title ), Stern , Wallpaper (see Monocle), Die Weltwoche , Die Zeit (especially Zeit-Magazin) and Annabelle .

Hirsch studied at the Bournemouth and Poole College of Art and Design from 1989 to 1992 . He portrays many well-known public figures such as Anke Engelke , Hape Kerkeling , Sibel Kekilli , Senta Berger , Bastian Pastewka , Oliver Pocher , Barbara Schöneberger , Bela B and the deceased journalist Marc Fischer, with whom he was on friendly terms. They worked together at Tempo Magazin in the 90s. Hirsch's book “Toast Hawaii” from 2008 also includes a short story by Marc Fischer. Enver Hirsch also works in the advertising industry and produced works for Deutsche Bank , Bauhaus , and Ikea as well as Deutsche Telekom and Greenpeace .
