Eric Bouwer
Eric Bouwer (born June 28, 1984 in Gifhorn ) is a German actor .
Life
Eric Bouwer was born as the third child of his mother Corinna in Gifhorn and grew up first with his father near Königslutter am Elm and later with his mother in Braunschweig . His father was Gerhard Bouwer, who u. a. worked as an engineer at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Braunschweig, as well as worked on engine development at VW and also at Cargolifter AG in Potsdam ; he died of cancer in 2004. His mother brought the twins Maren and Adina into the marriage. After Bouwer passed his Abitur in Braunschweig in 2004, he moved to Berlin at the age of 19, where he played his first major role in the television series Die Familienanwältin as the son of Mariele Millowitsch . From 2006 to 2009 he worked as the "shy bookworm" Kai Maiboom in 89 episodes of the romantic drama series Tessa - Life for Love , in which Eva-Maria Grein von Friedl embodied the heroine. This was followed by various episode roles in crime series, for example in In the Name of the Law , SOKO Wismar , Tatort Münster and Last Trace Berlin .
Bouwer has been working with the renowned acting coach Sigrid Andersson since 2004 and also completed a three-year training course as an actor in the Theaterwerkstatt Charlottenburg in Berlin from 2007 to 2010. This was followed by small film roles in the thriller The Silence of Baran bo Odar , with whom he also in the thriller a few years later Who Am I worked. He also had an appearance in the successful comedy Men Hearts ... and the very, very great love in which he embodied a police officer. In the winter of 2012 he played one of the leading roles in the international cast of the novel Colette: A Girl from Antwerp by the Czech writer Arnošt Lustig .
