Centro Electrotécnico y Comunicaciones , or CEYC for short , was a Spanish manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company from Madrid was subordinate to the Spanish Ministry of War and manufactured passenger cars. Juan Antonio Hernandez Nùnez was the designer, while José Tafir Funes was responsible for production. Around 1160 vehicles were built between 1922 and 1931, one of which still exists today.

Brand name CEYC

The vehicles for the Spanish military were given the brand name CEYC. The 4/10 HP model appeared in 1922 and remained in production until 1928. A four - cylinder two-stroke engine with a displacement of 792 cm³ (60 mm bore , 70 mm stroke ) and 16 hp provided the drive .

Brand name Euskalduna

The Compania Euskalduna de Construcción y Reparación de Buques SA from Bilbao manufactured the same model for private buyers in its factory in Madrid between 1925 and 1928. The brand name was Euskalduna .

Brand name Diana

A larger model was to be marketed under the brand name Diana , but there was no series production. Only a prototype was made between 1929 and 1931. The four-cylinder four- stroke engine with 2270 cm³ displacement (85 mm bore, 100 mm stroke) made 40 hp. The body offered space for six people.
