Fabio Regazzi (born June 22, 1962 in Locarno , authorized to reside there) is a Swiss politician ( CVP ).

Life

After graduating from high school, Regazzi obtained a Bachelor of Law at the Collegio Papio in Ascona and in 1988 a law degree from the University of Zurich . In 1991 he received his lawyer license and in 1992 his notary license . From 1992 to 1999 he was the owner of a law firm in Locarno and Gordola . From 2000 to 2009 he was General Manager of Regazzi SA, an industrial company belonging to the family, which is active in the field of mechanical engineering and metal processing. He has been the company's CEO since 2010.

From 1984 to 1996 Regazzi was a member of Gordola City Council. He then sat in the Ticino Grand Council from 1995 to 2011 . Regazzi has been a member of the National Council since the parliamentary elections in 2011 and sits on the commissions for transport and telecommunications , the editorial commission and the immunity commission .

Regazzi was present in the national press in particular through his commitment to an amnesty and a simultaneous tax rebate for tax evaders as well as for his advance in favor of lower fines for car speeders.

Regazzi lives in Gordola, is single and has no children.
