Filkeháza ( Rusyn Φiлкегаза ) is a Hungarian community in the county Sátoraljaújhely in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén . Almost half of the residents belong to the Russian ethnic group .
Geographical location
Filkeháza is located in northern Hungary , 72.5 kilometers northeast of the Miskolc county seat , 16.5 kilometers northwest of the district town Sátoraljaújhely , three kilometers from the border with Slovakia , on the Bisó-patak river. Neighboring communities within a four-kilometer radius are Füzérkajata and Füzérkomlós . The nearest town, Pálháza, is three kilometers to the southeast.
