Flagler Estates is located approximately 35 km southwest of St. Augustine and approximately 80 km south of Jacksonville .
Demographic data
According to the 2010 census, the then 3215 inhabitants were distributed among 1253 households. 89.0% of the population identified themselves as whites , 6.2% as African American , 1.0% as Indians and 0.3% as Asian Americans . 1.7% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 1.7% to several ethnic groups. 6.3% of the population was made up of Hispanics or Latinos .
