action

TV reporter Patrick Hale works for the World Television Network . He is preparing a report in Africa about King Awad when his colleague Sally Blake is killed by a bomb.

The President of the United States Lockwood, who most of the time involved in sports exercises and fear for the challenger Mallory, orders to the CIA -Director eliminating an uncomfortable person. The CIA director insists that he must be given clear instructions to avoid becoming a scapegoat later. Lockwood, however, refuses to provide a clear formulation. He ends up spelling KILL and throws the director out of his office. Shortly thereafter, King Awad is killed.

Hale interviews the leader of the Islamist terrorists Rafeeq. Rafeeq mourns the loss of the king and assures Hale - who was friends with the king - that he is pursuing the same goals as Awad. The terrorist wants to buy nuclear weapons. Further research by Hales reveals that the US government agencies and military are implicated in the plot.

A series of suicide attacks rocked the United States. After an announcement of the attacks, the airspace over Washington, DC is closed, but the attackers hijack a helicopter and jump out of it onto the government buildings. Another announcement - supposedly by Rafeeq - announces a nuclear explosion in New York City . Hale takes part in the search for the bomb and finds two suitcases on the roof of the World Trade Center . Rafeeq sees the events on TV and is surprised because he has both purchased suitcase bombs with him. President Lockwood leads the United States to war in the Middle East.
