Fliehburg

The Fliehburg Woringen (also called Volksburg or Volksfliehburg ) is an abandoned hilltop castle on the ridge of the Kellerberg ( Schloßberg or Burgösch ) west of Woringen , in the Unterallgäu district in Bavaria .

The Fliehburg is around 450 meters long and divided into three sections. The structure is very similar to the Fliehburg near Ittelsburg on the Falken. The length of the individual walls is 300, 175 and 75 meters. At the northern tip, separated by a deep ditch , there is a castle stable . However, this is in no way related to the actual Fliehburg. The Fliehburg is a listed building.
