The Erzurum Airport Turkish Erzurum Havalimanı is a Turkish airport near the city of Erzurum . It is operated by the state DHMI .
The airport was opened in 1966 and is used for military and civil purposes. It has a terminal with a capacity of 2,000,000 passengers per year and three paved runways, one of which is closed and a second has an instrument flight landing system (ILS). The apron for passenger traffic can accommodate seven commercial aircraft. There are other small aprons and hangars as well as military equipment for use by the Air Force.
The city of Erzurum assigned to him is about eleven kilometers away. It can be reached by taxi, private car or airport bus. There is a parking lot for 200 cars in front of the terminal.
