The Mardin Airport ( Turkish Mardin Havalimanı ) is a Turkish airport near the city of Mardin . It is operated by the state DHMI .

Airport grounds

The airport was opened in 1999 and is used exclusively for civil purposes. It has a terminal with a capacity of 400,000 passengers a year and a paved runway that does not have an instrument flight landing system (ILS). The apron has a size of 50 × 80 meters and can accommodate a commercial aircraft.

The city of Mardin assigned to him is about 18-20 kilometers away. It can be reached by taxi, private car or airport bus via the D-950 expressway. There is parking for around 50 cars in front of the terminal.
