The Dalaman airport ( Turkish Dalaman Havalimanı ; IATA code : DLM , ICAO code: LTBS ) measured by passenger numbers, the seventh largest airport Turkey (as of 2019) and on the southern Aegean area. The airport has had a new international terminal since 2007 . Dalaman serves the holiday cities of Dalyan , Marmaris and Fethiye as well as the Sarıgerme area .

Airlines and Destinations

International charter airlines fly to Dalaman seasonally (April – November) .

There are scheduled flights to Antalya , Izmir , Istanbul , Istanbul-Sabiha Gökçen and Ankara all year round . Turkish Airlines flew to its old home airport, Istanbul-Ataturk, until April 2019 .

Regular charter airlines include Condor , Tuifly , Thomas Cook , easyJet , Freebird , Pegasus Airlines , Thomson and Transavia, as well as various Russian airlines.

The terminals

Domestic flights will be handled via the old terminal, while international flights will be handled via the new international terminal.

The airport is operated by ATM Dalaman International Terminal. ATM International Terminal invested around USD 150 million in the renovation. The terminal covers an area of 95,000 m² on four floors. In the terminal building, the first floor is the arrivals area and the second and third floors are the departure areas.

The terminal has 12 gates , eight of which have passenger boarding bridges . By building a new apron , the maximum parking space was increased by 14 spaces, so that the airport now has 35 parking spaces . All passenger boarding bridges are equipped with a 400 Hz electrical supply and PCA air conditioning systems. In this way, aircraft can cover the required electrical energy, ventilation, air conditioning and the demand for hot water while on the ground. A 45,000 m² parking lot for 550 cars was created at the new international terminal.

The terminal has 60 check-in counters at which 4,000 passengers and 5,000 pieces of luggage can be handled per hour.

Transport links

The airport has a four-lane road connection via the D555 to nearby Dalaman . On this one reaches after approx. 7 km the D400, which leads as a coastal road to Marmaris or Fethiye and on to Antalya .

There are two shuttle bus routes to Marmaris and Fethiye, which are operated by Havaş, which are coordinated with domestic flights .
