Franco Emanuel Cervi (born May 26, 1994 in San Lorenzo , Santa Fe province ) is an Argentine soccer player who has been under contract with the Portuguese first division club Benfica Lisbon since July 2016 . The winger has been the Argentine international since September 2018 .

Career

Franco Cervi went through all the youth teams of the Argentine club Rosario Central before he made his debut for the November 9, 2014 canallas in the match against Estudiantes de la Plata denied . On February 14, 2015, he scored his first competitive goal against Racing Club .

On September 15, 2015, Cervi signed a six-year contract with Portuguese champions Benfica Lisbon . However, he stayed with Rosario until the end of May 2016 and joined Benfica for the 2016/17 season . On his debut for his new employer in the game against Sporting Braga , he scored an instant hit.

National team

On September 8, 2018, he made his debut for the Argentine national team in a 3-0 friendly win against Guatemala . He scored for the national team for the first time on October 11 in a friendly against Iraq .
