Tyronne Efe Ebuehi (born December 16, 1995 in Haarlem ) is a Dutch - Nigerian football player .

Career

societies

The son of a Dutch mother and a Nigerian father played in his youth for the amateur clubs DSOV , SV Hoofddorp , VV Young Boys and HFC EDO until he moved to ADO Den Haag . The defender signed his first professional contract there in the summer of 2014. On August 10, 2014, Ebuehi made his debut in the Eredivisie against Feyenoord Rotterdam . In the 2016/17 season he became a regular player.

On May 19, 2018, Ebuehi's move to Benfica Lisbon became known, where he signed a five-year contract.

National team

On June 1, 2017, Ebuehi made his international debut for Nigeria in a 3-0 win in the friendly against Togo . He was part of the Nigerian squad at the 2018 World Cup in Russia . In the second group game against Iceland (2-0) he was substituted on for Brian Idowu in the second half .
