Frank Behnke (actor)

Frank Behnke (born February 2, 1962 in Tokyo , Japan ) is a German actor .

Life

Frank Behnke was born in Tokyo and grew up multilingual in Asia until he was eleven. He attended high school and graduated from high school . He then studied for two semesters long law in Munich . He got his first contact with the media industry through film projects at the Munich Film School . There he played in a few films as a small actor . He then completed an apprenticeship as a banker at Dresdner Bank Frankfurt and switched to the film and television industry as a production assistant at Hessischer Rundfunk , where he was involved in the production of the entertainment program Zum Blauen Bock .

Behnke studied classical acting at the Mainz drama school from 1987 to 1990 . Since 1986 he has been working as a theater and musical actor. Theater engagements in Stuttgart , Mainz, Frankfurt am Main and Munich followed. In Kaiserslautern he appeared in the musical Hello Dolly! on. He also played in series such as Unser Charly , Ein Fall für Zwei ( ZDF ), Die Aubergers (ZDF), Der Landarzt (ZDF), Hecht and Heye ( ARD ), Tatort (ARD), Kriminaltango ( Sat.1 ), and Die Rettungsflieger and Edel and Starck (Sat.1).

Of 23 October 2003 until 17 February 2004 and 21 December 2005 to 30 January 2006 played Behnke in the daily soap Unter uns on RTL the role of Dr. Herbert Voss . He also played in Forbidden Love and Storm of Love , but only in a supporting role as Sebastian Dexter in the latter series. Most recently he was in the RTL daily soap 112 - You save your life to see.

Frank Behnke lives in Munich, is married and has three children.
