The Verbandsliga Mittelrhein 1959/60 was the 4th season of the Verbandsliga Mittelrhein , which from 1958 to 1978 was the top division in men's amateur football on the Middle Rhine . Until 1963, this league, together with the association leagues Niederrhein and Westphalia, represented the substructure of the II. West Division and was third-class in the German football league system of that time .

Season end

The SV Baesweiler 09 was Middle Rhine champion, but had no success in the subsequent promotion round and remained in the association league. Glückauf Habbelrath-Grefrath and SVS Merkstein had to relegate to the Middle Rhine regional league. TuRa Hennef and the amateurs of Alemannia Aachen rose from the national leagues for the new 1960/61 season .
