Gabriel "TrapN" Toledo (born May 30, 1991 ) is a Brazilian e-athlete who became known for his success in the Counter-Strike game series. He currently plays for Made in Brazil .
Career
Toledo played before beginning his professional career in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Counter-Strike 1.6 , Counter-Strike: Source and Crossfire . The greatest success in 1.6 was the win at the IEM V - American Championships in 2010 with CompLexity . In the early years of CS: GO, the tournament organizers usually gave the teams from South America no chance to participate. In spring 2015, the Brazilian community and the E-Sports Entertainment Association used crowdfunding to finance the travel expenses of Toledo and his team KaBuM.TD for participating in the qualification tournament for ESL One Katowice 2015 . After successful qualification, FallN signed with the team at Keyd Stars . Under this organization, the lineup moved to North America. Toledo reached the top 8 in Katowice and second place in the first season of the American league of the ESL ESEA Pro League . In July 2015, Luminosity Gaming signed the lineup around FallN. Under Toledo as captain, Luminosity established itself among the world's best. The early highlight was winning the MLG Major Championship: Columbus 2016 in April 2016. This was followed by further victories in Austin and London in spring 2016.
After contract disputes between FallN's team and Luminosity, Toledo has been playing with his entire team for SK Gaming since July 1, 2016, under which they won the ESL One Cologne 2016 in the same month.
In January 2017, Toledo was added to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in the Games category. This was followed by eight more successes at international offline tournaments in the course of 2017, including winning the ESL Pro League Season 6 . In June 2018, Immortals signed the SK Gaming team. Since then, Toledo has played for the Made in Brazil brand, which has been revived by Immortals .
