Gad Ja'akobi
Gad Ja'akobi ( Hebrew גד יעקבי; * January 18, 1935 in Kfar Vitkin near Netanya ; † August 27, 2007 ) was an Israeli politician .

Gad Yaacobi was a member of the Knesset from the 7th to the 12th legislature. From 1969 to 1991 he was a Knesset member of the HaMa'arach , from 1991 to 1992 he was a Knesset member of the Avoda , from 1974 to 1977 he was the Israeli transport minister . In 1984 he was Israeli Minister for Economic Strategies , from 1986 to 1988 he was Minister for Economic Strategies , from 1987 to 1990 he was Minister of Communications and from 1992 to 1996 he was Israel's Ambassador to the UN .

He published 15 books, including two volumes of poetry and three children's books, and wrote articles for magazines.
