The Israeli Ministry of Transport, National Infrastructure and Road Safety ( Hebrew משרד התחבורה, התשתיות הלאומיות והבטיחות בדרכים), is responsible for traffic and road safety in Israel . The headquarters are in Givat Ram , Jerusalem . First the minister responsible was Minister of Transport (1948–2006), then Minister of Transport and Road Safety (2006–2009), then Minister of Transport, National Infrastructure and Road Safety (2009–).
