The Ministry of Aliyah and Integration ( Hebrew מִשְׂרָד העֲלִיָּה והקְלִיטַה, Misrad HaAlijah VeHaKlitah ) is an Israeli ministry.
history
After the end of the second government under David Ben-Gurion on October 8, 1951, the then Ministry of Immigration (מִשְׂרָד העֲלִיָּה, Misrad HaAljiah ) dissolved. During the 13th government under Golda Meir , the ministry was re-established.
On November 18, 2018, the name was changed to Ministry of Immigration and Integration.
Fake Success Stories
In October 2019, the Times of Israel reported that the ministry was posting fake news , quotes and photos on Twitter about alleged success stories of immigrants to Israel .
