The Israeli Ministry of Tourism ( Hebrew
מִשְׂרַד הַתַּיָּרוּת Misrad ha-Tajjarūt , German 'Office of Tourism' , Plene tooתיירות ) was founded in 1964. The Minister of Tourism (שַׂר הַתַּיָּרוּת Sar ha-Tajjarūt ) heads the ministry.
