Benjamin Netanyahu V cabinet

The Netanyahu V ( Hebrew מֶמְשֶׁלֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל הַשְׁלוֹשִׁים וְחָמֵשׁ) is the 35th government of the State of Israel and the fifth cabinet under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu .

After the parliamentary elections in 2020 , the Likud and Chosen LeJisra'el parties negotiated a joint government. The parties United Torah Judaism , Schas , Gescher , HaBajit haJehudi and Derech Eretz as well as two of the three MPs from Avoda spoke out in favor of the government.

On May 17, 2020, the cabinet, which is also seen as a unity government , was formed. In the vote of confidence, the government was confirmed with 73 votes against 46.
