Cəmil Ağamalıyev

Cəmil Ağamalıyev (until 1997 with the World Chess Federation FIDE Djamil Agamaliev , from 1997 Gamil Agamaliev and from 2014 Cemil Aghamaliyev ; born August 31, 1974 ) is an Azerbaijani chess player and coach who has been playing for the Turkish Chess Federation since May 2014.

With the Azerbaijani national team he took part in the U26 Chess Olympiad in Paranaguá in 1993 . The team took second place. In September 2002 he won the 1st Kaissa tournament ( category 8) in Alushta , in July 2003 the 2nd International Open in Condom . He plays club chess in Iran for the team Payam Ertebatat from Gilan and in Turkish leagues for Antalya Ramazan Savaş Spor Kulübü . He trains the Turkish youth player Vahap Şanal from Izmir .

In 1993 he became International Master , since 2002 he has held the title of Grand Master and since 2017 the title of FIDE Trainer . Cəmil Ağamalıyev lives in Izmir.

His Elo number is 2493 (as of June 2019), in October 2003 he reached his highest Elo number of 2526.
