action

The teenager Aaron Corbett is an orphan and has been the adopted son of Lori and Tom Corbett for the last three years, who himself was a child at home . He gets along very well with his adoptive parents and is the only one who has very close access to his younger disabled adoptive brother who does not speak.

Change of scene: In Japan a man is hunted down and murdered by the mighty. The mighty are angels who want to keep the earth pure and therefore kill all fallen angels and murder their descendants, the Nephilim . But they also kill people if they believe they had contact with the fallen.

Meanwhile, Aaron goes to high school. On his 18th birthday, he made an amazing discovery: not only did he have supernatural abilities, he could also express himself in different languages. He trusts his psychologist Dr. Michael Jonas, who can hardly believe this.

From a homeless man named Zeke, who is a fallen angel, he learns that he is a " Nephilim ", half human and half angel.

Aaron falls in love with Vilma Rodriguez, who believes in angels. Through them he also learns many things about the existence of angels. She also falls in love with him and suspects that he is an angel.

When the angel Verchiel learns of the existence of Aaron, she pulls out all the stops to destroy him, but Aaron escapes.

criticism

"Varied and imaginative film adaptation of a fantasy book series with solid effects."
